Why SoundLab shows disk space warning?
The excellent editing experience in SoundLab relies on saving projects in lossless formats, which can occupy significant storage space, especially for large projects.
When the disk space is insufficient, editing and saving projects may fail, resulting in potential loss of work. To prevent wasted your time, we have implemented system disk space monitoring. If the available disk space falls below 4GB, a disk space warning will prompt when creating or opening a project for editing.
How can I get more available storage space?
✅ Store your photos and videos in iCloud
By default, your photos and videos are stored on your device in their original, high-resolution version. This means that they use a lot of space on your iPhone and iPad.
With iCloud Photos, you can make more space available on your device and still have access to your entire full-resolution collection wherever you go.
Please refer to the following link to enable "Optimize iPhone Storage":
✅ Delete redundant files and projects in the SoundLab track library
✅ Offload Unused Apps
Why does SoundLab show less available storage space than iOS system settings?
The available disk space displayed in Settings->General->iPhone/iPad Storage, in addition to the actual free space, also includes the space occupied by cache files that can be cleared.
These spaces can only be released during system updates or other emergency operations. Ordinary apps cannot guarantee that these spaces can be used. Therefore, please refer to the disk space prompt progress bar at the bottom of the SoundLab home screen.
