How do I export only the selected part of a track?

How can I save the master effects I have created in a project? I used to master effects and the song sounded exactly how I wanted, thought once I pressed the save icon in the upper left corner it didn't save the effects. If this is not a new update, then it should be. If it is possible, please help. Thank you.

Anyone familiar with not being able to access a project and getting a message popping up that states: We are hard working on a rare project broken issue, please do not make any edits and close the project, keep the project file and we will fix the issue as soon as possible. I produce a podcast and my entire episode is just unable to be accessed. If anyone has had this happen how long did you have to wait until the issue was fixed, or was it fixed at all?
